If He Did It Before…

Over the years, I’ve learned that my mind replays what I allow it to rehearse. It defaulted to defeats, disappointments, closed doors, moments that almost broke me. God taught me to rewire my brain by rehearsing victories instead of defeats.

Now, when doubt speaks, I remind myself of every time He came through: answered prayers, survived battles, seasons He carried me when I couldn’t carry myself. I lean on His Word, letting His promises be louder than my fears.

So, if you find yourself struggling with crippling thoughts and relentless doubts, choose today to count His goodness. Be intentional about remembering what He has already done. Write it down if you need to. Speak it out loud. Remind your soul of the doors He opened, the prayers He answered, the strength He provided when you felt weak, and the peace He gave when everything around you felt chaotic. The same God who sustained you then has not changed. If He did it before, He will certainly do it again because His faithfulness is not seasonal, it is constant. Your past victories are proof that your current battle is not the end of your story.

I’ve learned that faith grows when I remember. Rehearsing His faithfulness guides my mind back to victory.

“I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago.”

Psalms 77:11 NIV
