Trust Anyway

It’s easy to trust God when everything is going well, when prayers are answered, doors are opening, and life feels full of joy and clarity. In those seasons, faith flows naturally. Gratitude is on our lips, hope is in our hearts, and God’s goodness seems undeniable. But what about the times when life feels like a wilderness? When prayers go unanswered, trials seem relentless, the future looks uncertain, and nothing makes sense. What do we do as believers when we can’t see God working? It’s natural to question God’s love in challenging moments based on what we're going through. However, our faith isn’t based on fleeting emotions; it’s anchored in truth. Even when life seems overwhelming and broken, we can find comfort in knowing God is faithful, sovereign, and unchanging. It’s important to remind ourselves of His unwavering character. He is good, even when circumstances suggest otherwise. He is present, even when His voice feels distant. The same God who walked alongside us during our joyful times is right there with us in our struggles. You are not alone in this. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” Hebrews 13:8.

We can trust His character, Lean into God, we’re called to draw near to our Heavenly Father. Cry out. Be honest. God can handle your frustration, your doubts, and your weariness. He welcomes raw prayers more than polished ones. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Psalm 34:18 Hold on to His Promise. He promises never to leave us (Deuteronomy 31:6), to work all things for good Romans 8:28, and to give peace that passes understanding Philippians 4:7. Speak His Word over your situation. Let His truth become louder than your fear.

Tough seasons can make us feel alone, but God intended for us to be in community. Connect with believers who will support you and uplift you through prayer. They will remind you of God’s faithfulness. Faith grows stronger when we carry each other through hard times.

God doesn’t waste pain. Often, it’s in the darkest moments that He shapes us the most, teaching us endurance, refining our faith, and revealing Himself in more profound ways. What seems like a delay or detour may actually be a setup for something greater than you can see right now. So, I encourage you to keep trusting Him. Trust Him on the mountaintop, trust Him in the valley, trust Him anyway, trust Him in every season, He’s worthy to be trusted.
