Why Me God?
Ever had one of those moments when you ask, “God, why me?” Why does everyone else’s life seem so easy while
yours feels like one long, painful climb? Why does your road feel rougher, your tears heavier, you’re waiting
longer?
The enemy loves to whisper that God doesn’t care. But that’s a lie. Because the truth is, God didn’t punish you with
the pain… He trusted you with it. Scripture reminds us in James 1:2-4 to consider it pure joy, my brothers and
sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces
perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. He’s
not ignoring you; He’s developing you. He’s building your spiritual strength, sharpening your faith, and preparing
you for something greater.
Even through the hurt, you keep worshiping. Even when it’s hard, you keep showing up. Even when you don’t
understand, you continue to trust. So yes, it’s you because He trusts you with the trial.
