Worth the wait?
We always hear people say, “Good things take time… God things take time.” And honestly? When you’re the one in the middle of the stretching, the pruning, the waiting, that’s the last thing you want to hear.
But here’s the truth we don’t always appreciate in the moment: the waiting season has a purpose; it's where spiritual growth happens, our character is formed, and we begin to look like Jesus through the continual sanctification process.
God cares more about who you’re becoming than how quickly you get what you’re praying for. It’s not that He can’t move fast, He absolutely can, but He often uses the slow seasons to shape us in ways we’d never choose on our own.
So if you’re in a season of waiting, breaking, or being refined, breathe. Hold steady. God is working, even here. And one day you’ll look back and say, “It was worth the wait.”
But those who wait on the LORD will renew their strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles; they will run and not be weary, they will walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31
